When I say the word, “family business owner” what do you picture? Many people default to an image of the male leader, but this trend is changing. Currently, 24% of family businesses are led by women and 31.3% of the next successors are female professionals. In this episode, I interview Dr. Denise Federer, Ph.D., owner of Federer Performance Management, about working with families and the next generation of leaders. She offers tips for women working in or taking over a family enterprise.
